Where do you want to go?
At EES we take the time to learn about what you like to do,
what your special interests are and what jobs you’ve
enjoyed in the past. We even like to meet and talk with the
people who know you best. This helps us discover what type
of employment will be right for you.
Finding the right job
You may not know exactly what career you want, so we’ll
take you to some different companies around town. You can
see a variety of jobs, watch people doing them and ask questions.
We can even arrange for you to try out the jobs you like the
best. By exploring these things together we will understand
what type of work will be most fulfilling for you.
Getting comfortable on the job
When we find a good match, we spend a lot of time with the
employer before you start the job. We want everything to be
ready for you. Sometimes we do the job ourselves and always
watch someone else perform the tasks to make sure we understand
all the things you’ll need to learn. This way we can
help you figure out the best ways to be successful in your
employment.
We’ll be there for you
Our work isn’t over when we find you a job. We stay by
your side helping you learn your tasks, find your way around
the workplace and get to know your co-workers and employer
better. As long as you are working, we continue to visit you
and your employer at the job site. We want you to always feel
that you have our support.

EES works primarily with people who have developmental disabilities
