Evaluate the needs of the position, department, and organization
EES staff will spend the time to understand what is needed
to successfully fill your position. This is accomplished through
interviews or conversations with your key personnel, observing
the job or tasks being performed, and sometimes having EES
learn to complete critical tasks by doing the work themselves.
EES staff work to fully understand the range of tasks involved,
the production and quality expectations, the customer or co-worker
interaction requirements, the level of supervision and support
available, as well as other details specific to your business
and the positions to be filled.
EES staff are experienced at identifying and suggesting ways
to accommodate the needs of people with a range of disabling
conditions and still fulfill the essential functions of the
position.
Recruitment and screening
Once a position in your company has been identified and reviewed,
we will begin the process of selecting and pre-screening candidates.
This reduces the time you would normally spend recruiting,
checking references and interviewing potential employees.
EES can present candidates who are well suited to your position.
We can even assist you in the interview process.
Smooth Job Start
After a candidate is selected for employment, our staff can
assist with on-site training that creates a positive and productive
work situation for the employee, co-workers and supervisor.
EES staff can be available until you and the new employee
are comfortable with the performance of the job. The duration
of the initial training period will vary based on the particular
job and the needs of those involved.
We can also provide a co-worker orientation to foster effective
and productive working relationships. We focus on educating
your employees on EESs role, disability issues and strategies
to successfully integrate the new employee into your workforce.
Additionally, we can assist the job supervisor to ensure
effective communication with the new employee and problem
solve any issues that may arise.
Success for the Long Term
EES is committed to the long-term success of your employee.
We will check-in regularly and are available for on-going
support and training throughout the employees tenure
with your company. This includes training support when new
skills are needed, job responsibilities change, supervisors
or critical co-workers change or when opportunities for advancement
develop.
